What to Expect
This award develops the skills needed to paddle confidently along the coastline and in more exposed environments. Participants will learn how to handle wind, chop, swell, and longer journeys while developing sound decision-making and safety awareness.

- Small surf, swell, and wind chop
- Coastal journeys and short crossings

What to Bring
- Weather-appropriate clothing suitable for coastal conditions

- Sunhat, sunglasses (with strap), and sunscreen
- Secure footwear suitable for water activities (optional)
