Shipping policy

Delivery is through a national courier and is usually achieved within 2-3 business days. For oversize/bulky items we aim for delivery between 5-7 work days via freight companies.

For oversize items we recommend pickup be made direct from the freight company depot as this greatly reduces potential damage and delivery times.

Large items (surf skis, kayaks, SUP’s etc.) will incur freight charges. Paddles will cost $40- $50.00 to freight depending on length of paddle and all other goods in NZ will incur the following costs: Auckland $8.50, Rest of North Island $12.00 and all South Island $23.00

We make sure that all goods are carefully packed. Please inspect goods, especially paddles, kayaks, surf skis and SUP’s, prior to signing for them. Should the goods be damaged upon delivery, then please make a note with delivery company and contact us immediately so that we may follow up with the courier. If goods are signed for without inspection and then found to be damaged there is no way freight companies will accept liability.

We shall not be liable for failure to deliver on a timely basis due to causes beyond our control.

If Fergs Kayaks makes a mistake in addressing then we’ll cover any costs for re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product. If the customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Fergs Kayaks will not refund or resend the product and all responsibility for correcting delivery will be borne by the customer.

International customers - Please email for freighting quote. Fergs Kayaks will not accept any liability or make compensation payments for loss, damage, delayed delivery or parcels halted by customs and subject to inspection fees. We urge you to check your country's legislation for any items prohibited by any law, regulation or statute of any country or state to, or through which the items may be shipped.
