Retail Refund / Returns Policy
Fergs Kayaks – Returns Guarantee

We want you to feel confident shopping with Fergs Kayaks.
If for any reason you’re not happy with your purchase, we offer a 7-day returns guarantee from the date of purchase.
1. How to Return an Item
If you’d like to return a product, please follow these simple steps:
- 
Contact us first. Email salesak@fergskayaks.co.nz to let us know you’d like to return an item. We’ll help you arrange one of the following options: 
- 
Exchange 
- 
Refund 
- 
Store credit 
- 
Repack your item carefully 
 Items must be returned in saleable condition (unused and in original packaging).
 Only products in resalable condition qualify under our returns guarantee.
- 
Include your proof of purchase 
 Enclose your packing slip or another proof of purchase, and make sure your name, address, email, and phone number are included.
 Keep a copy for your own records.
- 
Send the item back 
 Return the item using a courier of your choice (please note that cash on delivery returns are not accepted).

 Shipping costs for returns are not refundable.
2. Condition of Returned Items
All returned items must be:
- 
In original, saleable condition 
- 
Unused and in original packaging 
If the item is not in saleable condition, it may not qualify for a refund, exchange, or credit.
3. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If a product is faulty or not of acceptable quality, you’re covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
In these cases, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund — depending on what’s most appropriate.
Please contact us as soon as you notice an issue so we can sort it quickly.
4. Return Options
You can choose one of the following:
Exchange
If you’d like to swap an item for another product of the same value, we’re happy to help.
Proof of purchase is required (though we may waive this if we can confirm the sale).
Refund
If you’d prefer a refund, we’ll process it in the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Proof of purchase is required, and refunds apply within our 7-day guarantee period.
Store Credit
You can also choose to receive a store credit instead of a refund.
Credits are issued as gift vouchers, which can be used online or in-store and are subject to our standard voucher terms.
