EPIC V12 GEN 3

After 5 years of feedback, we re-designed our top of the line downwind ski, the Epic V12 – now in its’ 3 rd generation. The newest V12 is slightly shorter and has more rocker. This makes it incredibly maneuverable in downwind bumps. The bow is noticeably sharper and sleeker which allows it to more easily pierce wind chop and to shed water – allowing it to more quickly pop back to the surface in heavy surf conditions. The new bow shape is less affected in cross winds. The V12 Gen 3 stability is very similar to the previous version. The seat is based off our V11, which has gotten rave reviews for comfort and ergonomics. The cockpit will accommodate paddlers from 5’4” to 6’6” tall (it is one notch or 8mm shorter than our previous V12 cockpit). In totally flat conditions, the previous V12 version may be marginally faster (perhaps 1/10 of 1%), although I doubt anybody is sensitive enough to notice this. As soon as conditions start to pick up and there is any texture on the water, the new Epic V12 Gen 3 will outperform the previous generations.
